*Supra looked up at the relatively normal looking building in front of him.*
Is this really the right place?
*He looked down at his address and read the numbers over the door a fifth time. This was very strange. The building in front of him was completely empty... wait someone just appeared from behind the building. Where did he come from? Supra climbed the fire escape to the roof and looked over the side of the building to investigate. Indeed, someone was standing at the top of a stairway leading down to a subterranean doorway. He was smoking a cigarette and blew some of the smoke straight up and Supra caught some of it.*
*cough cough* Man, what's in that thing?
*Supra turned to look again and for a moment saw the man looking up at him. The next instant Supra felt a blow to his chest and was suddenly on his back. He instinctively turned his hand palm up and forced his attacker up in the air. After rolling back, he stood up and released his attacker who dissolved into mist as he landed on the ground. The mist reformed to a young man. He and Supra exchanged looks for a moment before the man spit whatever he was smoking out of his mouth. He moved forward at lightning speed, but Supra was ready this time. He held the man's foot in place, causing him to fall flat on his stomach. If Supra was right, this man had to be a vampire. Supra took a loose cinder block from the roof and rammed in into the vampire's head.*
That should keep you quiet for a while. I didn't expect to be attacked... I'd better see about defending myself somehow.
*Supra climbed back down and approached an old embroidery shop and found what he was looking for. It was a Greek letter "phi," which symbolized human philosophy. He hoped to use it to keep vampires away from him if it came down to a brawl, as he would most certainly would be outnumbered.*
*Making his way down the stairs to the front entrance, he was overwhelmed by the hard rock atmosphere as he entered. It was mostly a large empty room, the ground was almost completely concrete save for the entryway which was partially bricked. There were several pipes running along the city, probably water pipes. No doubt to immunize them from a possible witch raid. Several of the people inside noticed his presence either as a non vampire or because of his symbol. Some considered attacking him but were deterred, yet there was one that persisted. Supra turned to face her and pulled the Phi out of his jacket pocket.*
~A phi? He's a witch!~
*Several others were thinking the same thing. She backed off, and Supra made the rest of the way to the bar in the back undisturbed. He sat down and the bartender approached him.*
"What are you doing here witch?"
I'm looking for information. Have you seen any new faces around here lately? I'm looking for a vampire who abducted the bakery owner. It's in your best interest to tell me, since that woman is under Anna's protection. I'd hate to think about what could happen if she found out you were harboring the man who took her.

There was a vampire sitting not too far away from him at the bar. He laughed. "Hmph, Anna's protection order can only last so long. Stupid little empath should have moved out of the town when everyone else did. Maybe she wouldn't have gotten kidnapped. Hell, she's probably dead now, lying in the middle of the forest sucked dry."

*Supra looked over at this guy sitting a few stools over. Apparently, Anna's influence over these people wasn't as strong as he thought. Supra considered raiding his mind for information, but was weary of doing anything that might be interpreted as an attack in the middle of their stomping grounds.*
I'm not interested in your opinion, so unless you've got some information on the guy I'm looking for, why don't you mind your own business.

He swirled his drink a bit in his cup. "I might have something of interest," he remarked. "Some out of towner came in asking questions about the little empath. Had a strange accent, maybe from Ireland or somewhere in that range. Kept asking questions about the bakery and the owner."

*Supra moved over to the stool next to his. He leaned in and spoke directly to him.*
Now you've got my attention. Tell me everything you know about this man. Most importantly, where I can find him.

"Why? So you can find that bitch of a baker?" He rolled his eyes, "Besides, I don't know where he's at. The way he was talking, I doubt he thought that part through. He just seemed...obsessed with her. Probably dragging her ass through the forest somewhere wondering what he's going to do now that he's got her. Or hiding somewhere in town."

That's none of your concern. Well, it seems like you don't know anything after all. Try not to wander into an churches.
*Supra got up and made his way out of the club. Just great... the abductor was pretty unstable, which means the previous motive might not have even taken any account whatsoever. On top of that, he had no apparent home location... at least according to this guy. Given that it was true, finding him would be a matter of random luck. All he could do now is increase the area being searched at any given time. Although it's still possible for Aenet to come up with some kind of pattern that he follows from Aithne's former contacts. This was turning into quite the favor for Terry, so it was time to enlist his help on this.*

Aenet had asked around and found out that this was the vampire haunt. Because Supra had mentioned something about coming here, she figured that he would either be by eventually or he would come out eventually. Either way, she needed to talk to him. Thus, the baker's sister waited patiently for the witch.

*Supra nearly ran into Aenet on the way out.*
Whoa, what are you doing here? This place is dangerous.
*He let her into the embroidery shop to speak less conspicuously.*
Were you able to find anything?

"None of them had anything really important to say. Some of her old employees mentioned things about some strange man always leaving her flowers on frequent occassions. A former boyfriend talked about some man always calling and trying to talk to her, saying that she always seemed to get a little upset when he was mentioned. Another one said something about always seeing this guy in a suit everywhere he went with Aithne, almost like he was stalking her," she explained.
"I even went a little further and found similar incidents involving my mother and the same man, so I'm thinking that he really was a stalker." The woman reached into her coat pocket and pulled out a picture. She showed it to Supra. It was like a slightly older picture of Aithne.
"That's my mother," she remarked. "Her and Aithne look extremely alike. I'm thinking at this point...that it isn't a coincidence this man is after her."

Just a run of the mill crazy guy huh? Well, at least we know he probably won't kill her. I was just on my way to visit my contact in the forest, he'd be a great help organizing a sweep outside the city walls. That leaves us to sweep the inside, not the most investigative route but unfortunately we just don't have any real leads... unless... he "loves" her does he? Maybe he'll try to get her to become a vampire like him. There's one place in this city that specializes in that, though I shutter at the thought of actually going there... At any rate, I do need to see Terry first. Try not to get yourself killed, whatever you decide to do next.
*With that, Supra left the small embroidery shop and made for the city's gate.*

Aenet knew of one place where she could get help at the moment. If they were really up against a vampire, she needed to find something to combat that vampire. The only place that came to her mind was the church...so she left the embroidery shop headed in that direction.
